Details of the Rs 1958 Yearly Plan
The second plan is priced at Rs 1958 and offers a full 365 days of validity. Like the Rs 458 plan, it provides unlimited voice calls but comes with 3600 free SMS messages. Free access to JioCinema and Jio TV is also included. This plan is ideal for users who want to avoid frequent recharges and prefer a hassle-free yearly plan. At roughly Rs 5 per day or Rs 155 per month, this plan offers excellent value for money.
Discontinuation of Older Plans
With these new launches, Jio has discontinued two older plans — the Rs 479 plan, which offered 6GB of data for 84 days, and the Rs 1899 plan, which provided 24GB of data for 336 days. The focus now is on plans without data, catering to users who only need voice and SMS services.
